Indian Hairdressing Awards
L'Oréal Professionnel is announcing the launch of the Indian Hairdressing Awards, India's most prestigious hairdressing competition, now in a new format as a reality series exclusively on JioCinema.
Since its inception in 2014, the Indian Hairdressing Awards has celebrated the artistry and expertise of professional hairstylists, recognizing their talent and dedication to the craft. This year, the competition received an overwhelming response with over 100,000 entries, all centered around the theme of 'Meta-morphosis,' representing real transformation.
These 12 talented individuals will now compete in a mega-augmented L'Oréal Professionnel salon, where they will be evaluated by an esteemed panel including renowned filmmaker Karan Johar, L'Oréal Professionnel global color ambassador Min Kim, and an exciting lineup of Bollywood celebrities. Additionally, guest judges Harnaaz Sandhu and Alaiya F. will join the panel for the first four episodes.
Throughout the competition, hairstylists will face three challenges designed to test their skill and creativity in real transformations through hair color, haircut, and styling. They are encouraged to push the boundaries of self-expression, presenting bold, elevated, and innovative looks. Both judges and viewers will have the opportunity to score these challenges, adding an interactive element to the competition.
The culmination of this thrilling journey will be the Grand Finale, streamed live on JioCinema on April 22nd, 2024. Viewers can catch all the action-packed episodes starting March 29th, 2024, by downloading the JioCinema app and logging in. Additionally, viewers can cast their votes for their favorite hairstylists, with voting lines opening on March 29th.
For the winners, the rewards extend beyond accolades, as they will receive an all-expenses-paid trip to Paris and an opportunity to enhance their skills at Le Visionnaire, the prestigious L'Oréal academy in Paris.
