How to Cut a Short Bob (2)
Previous Page7. Corroborate that both sides of the section are the same length. Do this accurately by pinching the hair on each side of the section between your thumb and forefinger.
Slide both hands down the length of the hair until you reach the end of the length. Both hands should be on an equal height. Use this technique continually throughout your cut to ensure that the lengths of the sides are equal.

11. Draw an inch wide section at the bottom of the side section, and clip the rest of the hair up again to keep it out of your working space. Note the distinctive difference in length between the solid back weight line and the longer hair at the side sections.
12. Use the weight line at the back of the head as a guide concerning the length of the side of the short bob. Note that the length of this cut is close to the jaw-line of the model.
13. Loosen the hair above the freshly cut section and separate another inch wide section. Clip the rest of the hair securely at the top of the head, and comb the longer hair flat over the scalp of the model. Use the weight line of the hair cut under this section, as well as the weight line at the back of the model’s head as a reference concerning the length of the hair.
