Q: I have shoulder-length hair, and I was thinking about getting a perm. I want it to look like Hilarie Burton's
hair, the whole style of it. Do you think it would look ok? Can they do the curls like that?
I have an oval-shaped face. Plus, if I do
get it done, what would need to be done so that every day it looks like Hilarie's hair? Thanks.
A: I'm sorry, but I have no idea what specific style of Hilarie Burton's you want to imitate. I also have no way of knowing whether the

I looked at photographs from several sources, and the most recent photos show
Miss Burton with a mid-length layered cut with some razor texturing. If there has been any chemical processing (apart from obvious hair
color) then perhaps Miss Burton has had a body wave to add some fullness to the style, which would generally be acceptable for most
people with similar styles, particularly if they have fine or limp hair.
