Pamela Anderson was born on July 1st, 1967, in Ladysmith, British Columbia, Canada. Growing up, she showed early promise as a model and actress, eventually making the move to Los Angeles to pursue her career in entertainment. It was in LA where she famously dyed her hair blonde, a decision that would become synonymous with her iconic image.
Anderson's breakthrough role came in 1992 when she was cast as C.J. Parker in the globally popular TV series "Baywatch." Her portrayal of the lifeguard with the trademark red swimsuit made her an instant sensation, catapulting her to international fame. Anderson's role on "Baywatch" lasted until 1997, during which time the show became one of the most-watched television programs in the world.
