Next, focus on blow-drying the roots off the scalp. Don't hesitate to give the root area a firm tug. After the roots are dry, separate the hair from top to bottom and blow-dry the bottom sections, angling downwards and flipping the ends outward with a large barrel round brush.

After each section is round brushed, apply a layer of hairspray for hold. Now, style the crown section: brush it under in the back and angle the sides under towards the back of the head. Then, brush the bangs area up for the flip and back for a feathered appearance.
