Kate Beckinsale looked absolutely gorgeous at the Tod's Beverly Hills Boutique Opening Celebration back in 2010. She wore a solid royal blue dress with statement-making earrings. Pulling her hair up and back was a great choice to show off the sparkling jewels.

The hairstyle is very soft and sexy and has a fun, laid-back vibe. Kate has tons of hair, and the texture is very thick. The tight wave provides a great foundational texture for this updo. Her hair is teased at the crown, parted in the center, and then pulled back into a low, messy bun.

Bobby pins and hairspray were Kate's best friends in creating this hairstyle. A few tendrils are pulled out on either side of her face for framing. It has loads of windblown texture that keep it from looking too polished and stuffy, yet the result is still beautiful and formal.

Kate has always been known for her dark brunette hair color. She spices up her look here with some lighter pieces around the front of her face. It makes her skin pop and almost glow. Kate looks amazing, and we love this chic and simple hairstyle.
