Jessalyn Gilsig from Glee naturally attended the 2009 Glee Premiere Screening and Post Party. She knows you can't go wrong with a little black dress. Her peep-toe booties, accentuating necklaces, and hairstyle were also done very well.
To achieve this hairstyle, a fair amount of round brushing is required. Each layer should be flipped with a round brush to add volume. Using a flat iron will not give you the same effect. Start by applying a root-boosting spray (hairspray, backcombing, and mousse can work as substitutes), ensuring you blow-dry the roots away from the scalp after applying the product.
For those with thicker hair, this may be sufficient, but most will also need to do some backcombing. Divide the hair into sections, starting from the bottom to the top, and wrap tightly around the brush. Apply heat and once dry, allow the hair to cool to set, then spritz with hairspray.
