These old-fashioned waves are totally on-trend. Isla Fisher glowed at The Great Gatsby Premiere on May 1st, 2013. Her gorgeous hair echoes the time period of the movie but has a little more softness and length that help keep the hairstyle fresh and modern.

A deep, crisp side-part is created, and the hair cascades down into long, silky strands of waves. Layers are kept to a minimum for a fuller effect. The hair is pulled to the side and over one shoulder for a beautiful asymmetrical design. The length is long and well past her shoulders.

Achieve a similar look by curling your hair with an iron and then brushing through to break up the curls. A deep waving iron might work, too. Keep your looks soft by avoiding products that add grit or texture. Opt for softening products like shine sprays or serums to keep your waves loose and your hair glistening.

You don't need hairspray to lock in your look, and by skipping a finishing spray, you also keep your look touchable and soft. Isla's beautiful dark blonde hair is almost a strawberry blonde, and her golden locks really shine.
