Gone are the days of bowl cuts and blunt bangs for the American Idol runner-up. With increasing fame, his hairstyle got a big makeover as well. There wasn't much that had to come off since David has always worn his hair short. But a lot of texture throughout and a modern cutting style did the trick, and he turned from a choir boy look to a new American heartthrob.
David's short haircut is fun, a bit edgy, and super easy to style. He can also change the look with just a little bit of product and has been playing with the direction of the hair on his crown. Sometimes it is styled upwards towards the middle like a faux Mohawk or all-over spiky for a feisty, rebellious vibe. David's hair color is a deep coffee brown, and he should keep it that way.
