Carrie Preston is an American actress, born on June 21, 1967.
 
After dyeing her naturally blonde hair bright red for her role in "True Blood," Carrie decided to keep the color because it made her feel good and gave her a new edge. She chose well, as the various tones of red she has been wearing work great with her slightly pale skin tone and the color of her eyes.
 
She has experimented with shades ranging from copper to berry tones, and it is actually the red tones with a slight golden touch, rather than a blue one, that look best on her.
