The ever-so-lovely Cheryl Hines captivated audience members and fans alike while she attended the Writers Guild Awards Ceremony in Los Angeles clad in an alluring strappy noir ensemble - but of course, her stunning outfit is not all that was drawing attention.

Cheryl's hair color has been various shades of blonde over the years, but pictured here, she has woven both highlights and lowlights throughout, giving her a multi-dimensional hair color. This hair color technique can help trick the eyes into thinking that fine hair appears thicker than it actually is.

Cheryl's haircut falls into the long hair category and is a blunt cut or one length all the way around with the exception of the fringe, which is cut at the chin and razored down to the ends.

Cheryl's hairstyle here is a picture-perfect blend of urbane and effortless style, making it truly an uncomplicated and easy hair design that you can style yourself at home in under 15 minutes for straight hair and 30 minutes for curly hair!

As always, begin with freshly shampooed hair. Get the roots up off of the head by directional blow-drying; then continue directional drying as you aim the air downward. Next, her hair is parted slightly off-center and just her bangs are round brushed outward and to the back.

By doing this, Cheryl's face is opened up and we are able to see her gorgeous smile. Finish by applying a modest amount of hairspray.
