Product Washes Bad Color Out of Your Hair
For the nearly 100 million American women and men who color their hair - 70 million of whom do it at home - there’s finally more than hope and a hat to cover a bad coloring job!
Color Oops™, the perfect name to quickly get rid of renegade hair color, is being introduced today by Corona, CA-based DeveloPlus, an innovator in color and hair care technology.
On average, men and women color their hair about nine times per year and whether they go the professional or at home route, nearly half are not happy with the result. In the past, a bad dye job left the consumer
with few choices, either wait for it to grow out or spend hours and lots of money in the salon for tedious corrective color treatments that often left hair damaged and over-processed.
Color Oops™ changes all that and will wash unwanted color and tint from hair in just 20 minutes!
“Until now, the coloring miscue was an expensive and traumatic experience,” observed Phillip Agrey, Vice President of Research and Development for DeveloPlus, creators of the new concept. “There was little the
average consumer could do to salvage the situation without spending lots of time and money—and likely damaging his or her hair.”
“Coloring dyes typically use ingredients that envelop the hair follicle with clear molecules. A peroxide is added which creates the color and makes those molecules swell so the follicle is completely covered, you
then have strong, rich color,” said Agrey. But it’s dye that can’t readily be washed out of the hair—the swollen molecules were just too big—until now that is!
The product uses hydrosulfite, a special ingredient that actually reverses the hair color process by shrinking the color molecule so small that it simply washes out of the hair. No fuss, no mess—and all in just
about 20 minutes.
In fact, peroxide and ammonia-free Color Oops™ is so gentle, new color can be applied THE SAME DAY! It is available in “Extra Strength” and “Extra Conditioning” and can be found in mass and drug stores nationwide.
DeveloPlus was founded nearly 20-years ago by engineer and researcher Dave Agrey who created private label dyes for some of the nation’s top hair coloring brands. Through his ingenuity, he developed a new molecular
technology for hair dyes which allowed for richer, more vibrant colors. Today, DeveloPlus markets and distributes Satin™ brand hair color—the largest selling coloring product for professional hair supply stores.

Award winning group hob salons has teamed up with renowned
hairdresser and educator Debbie Dixon to embark on their new era of education. With a fantastic background and invaluable experience,
Debbie is the ideal person to take on the role of Principal and Manager at the company’s new training academy and salon due to open
at London’s Camden Lock next month.
Beginning her hairdressing career in Leeds in the late 1970’s, her entrance test for Vidal Sassoon was taken by none other than Tim
Hartley. Once qualified, Debbie worked in Manchester and London, whilst accompanying Vidal personally throughout the 1980’s to promote
his products in Europe.
Her organizational strengths and team building abilities were rewarded with her first management position within the Sassoon group in
Toronto, Canada where she successfully introduced education. On her return to the U.K. she took on the position of Senior Principal
at the Vidal Sassoon Schools and Academies. Her career took on momentum as she opened their most successful new salon launch in the
UK to date, in Cardiff.
The next 3 years saw Debbie manage Sassoon’s flagship South Molton Street salon, before taking on the enormous challenge of
re-energizing Sassoon’s Chicago salon in North America. It was there she met her husband, following him to Los Angeles were she was
promoted to Assistant General Manager of Education for Vidal Sasoon in North America.
Debbie now lives in Brixton South London with her husband Gary. Now taking a new direction she is excited and energized to be part of
the hob salons’ team in launching their new venture. The high-tech facilities will combine both a salon and a full-time teaching
academy, comprising 2 floors and 53 styling stations, welcoming students on a national and international level.
With the addition of Debbie, the hob team is fully equipped for the opening of hob salons & education in Camden. Speaking of this
great acquisition, hob’s International Creative Director, Akin Konizi expressed, ‘we are thrilled and fortunate to get Debbie on
board. She would be an asset to any company, and we are really looking forward to working with her on this fantastic and exciting
