This is a mid-length layered look that seems inspired by the female “power icons” of the late ‘80s. Cut with box layers, using vertical cutting lines to give even lengths along the sides while allowing the top and bottom
to retain extra length and bulk. The cut is styled with rollers and gently loosened and directed once the curls are set. Use a sculpting product to smooth and define the curls, or simply mist the hair using a firm-hold
lacquer and gently squeeze the hair to secure the locks.
